Here are some of the frequently asked questions
Q: Does it hurt?
A: I use 2 different numbing creams that should completely numb your brows. The first part of the service can be a little uncomfortable feeling but with the second numbing you shouldn't feel any pain.
Q: Do you have to shave the brows off first?
A: No. But I do use a razor to remove excess hair.
Q: How long does it last?
A: 1-3 years depending on your skin and what you put on it? The pigment fades quicker on oily skin. Any anti aging or acne products can also makes the brows fade.
Q: What do I need to do prior to the service?
A: I only ask that you do not drink alcohol or take any blood thinners or ibuprofen 24 hours prior because they cause you to bleed more and then you retain less pigment.
Q: Is the first touch up included?
A: All of my services come with complimentary touch ups built into the initial fee.
Q: Why is oily skin not recommended for micro blading?
A: Oily skin is not recommended because the oil in the skin makes the brows fade. The skin turns over cells faster and most people with oily skin use some kind of product to remove the oil and that makes the skin shed faster.
Q:Will I scab?
A: You will not experience any scabbing with wet healing. You may see some pigment come off when reapplying the aquafor with a q-tip.
Q: When can I get my brows wet after?
A: You will want to avoid water on your brows for 7-10 depending on how quick you heal. You may if needed cleanse your brows lightly and towel blot. Please remember to not scrub, pick or rub with a towel. This will pull out your pigment and lead to uneven color and even scarring.
Q: Will botox affect my eyebrows?
A: Botox should be completed 2-4 before your eyebrow appointment to allow the muscles to settle. Botox can be done after, once brows are healed
